Junior Sanchez - The Art of Finishing Music

Junior Sanchez joins Lex Luca for this week's OpenDAW Talks.

Junior is a highly respected global DJ, artist, record producer, and music executive. He’s collaborated with the likes of Masters at Work, Rhythm Masters & Harry Romero, remixed Daft Punk, Gorillaz  and DJ’ed all around the world. He runs He’s got so many production credits! 

We delve deep into his history from DJ’ing at the exclusive fashion parties in 90s, being taught how to make music by Armand van Helden, being a vinyl junkie and getting a seat the table of the New York legends Kenny Dope, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry and beyond.

Junior discusses his production techniques and the importance of finishing music and his favourite plug-ins. We talk about  how he approaches collaborating and producing other artists, how he deals with artist block experience and of course his top three tips for independent musicians.
